About Alex Smits

Proud to call Northland home, Alex is able to promote the region as a lifestyle choice. From its economic growth potential to its geographic and cultural diversity he fully appreciates how much the region has to offer for everyone.  He specialises in anything rural and of any size - from dairy farms to drystock, large and boutique lifestyle and coastal farming properties.

Alex and his family reside in Marua, Hikurangi. Having lived in Wellington and overseas, Northland has become his region of choice as, quite frankly, he can’t see why anyone wouldn’t want to live here!  He is passionate about the region and the people and has worked hard to develop solid relationships in the Whangarei region and building up a positive reputation within the rural community.

If you are thinking about selling, either now or in the future then contact Alex for a free PSP.  He has sold over $70 million of rural property in the wider Hikurangi Region and has a good knowledge of this market. He developed the idea of a PSP which focusses specifically on rural property solutions.

What is a PSP? This is a Property Sales Plan - not just an appraisal, but a FREE Property consultation.  Amongst other things a PSP will help you define: "what are my property goals and how can I achieve them?" You can click here for more information.

Alex talks the talk as well as walking the walk and is committed to working within his community. He is involved with supporting a number of projects in the Hikurangi/Hukerenui region and is also the current Chair of the Hikurangi Business Association.

Understanding his community and putting his clients first means Alex develops relationships to achieve results – “its not always about business, but understanding what motivates and drives people.”  By taking the time to listen, Alex delivers.  Values are important to Alex and his success is a direct result of this. His mantra – “to be the best for others and just be a good bugger”!

Alex’s drive and motivation to succeed ensures quality results.
